When many people hear about angels of the LORD (messengers of YHWH) speaking for YHWH they often think the angels (or messengers) are YHWH. This happens a lot with Trinitarians and modalists who read their preconceived belief that Jesus (Yehoshua) is YHWH into the bible. They believe that, since no one has seen the Father, if YHWH is seen by people, then it must be Jesus (Yehoshua).
